My Experience With a Nail Art Tutorial

After i finished watching the video, I did the tutorial on my own nails and they turned out perfect! The video shows step-by-step instructions along with verbal instructions. I can now do this tutorial without watching the video. The experience was very good indeed!

How do create cupcake nails:
1.Start by painting your nails five different colors preferably pastel.
2.Then you take white nail polish and create three white lines going verticle, combine the white lines to create frosting.
3.Take a dotting tool or a toothpick and create a red dot at the top of the frosting, using a shimmer red nail polish makes everything more fun!
4.Then take a smaller dotting tool than used for the cherry and create sprinkles using the five original colors that you painted the base of your nails with.
5.Add a clear coat to your nails to make them shine!
ALL DONE!

Federal Trade Commision

The duties of the FTC are, in general, to promote fair competition through the enforcement of certain antitrust laws; to prevent the dissemination of false and deceptive advertising of goods, drugs, curative devices, and cosmetics; and to investigate the workings of business and keep Congress and the public informed of the efficiency of such antitrust legislation as exists, as well as of practices and situations that may call for further legislation. The FTC has alot to do with copyright and creative commons because the FTC protects copyright and creative commons, and if you violate these the FTC can step in and bring the problem to the legislation.

Vanilla Ice vs Queen & Bowie

Vanilla Ice became a household word for a whilebecause of the copyright infringement that occured in 1990 when it came to light that he had sampled Queen and David Bowie’s “Under Pressure” without consent or license. Ice Ice Baby hit number one on the charts in the United States and Vanilla Ice became the one ‘under pressure’. Vanilla Ice altered the rhythm of the baseline thinking he would thereby avoid any question of credit, royalties, license or even permission. This case never went to court as it was clear that Vanilla Ice had stolen the sample without permission. He settled out of court with Queen and David Bowie for an undisclosed but very likely very high amount. Ice Ice Baby has been released in many different versions, since then, with all of the legal procedures followed.

Identity Theft

According to an article posted to The Washington Post, some woman got her identity stolen. The women made many mistakes in handling her credit and debit cards. The mistake she kept making was using her debit card for all purchases. She figure why spend money that i don’t have, when i could spend my own money using my bank account. Not smart.

ID theft is very common these days because people do not take careful measures when handling credit and or debit cards. It is also very easy to get personal information on someone, anyone can do it. Never give out personal information to anyone online, someone can access it.

In order to steal a person’s identity you would have to steal their address, phone number, age, height, credit card number, and social security number. These documents could be easy to find and access if someone was not smart and gave out their personal information to complete strangers.

If I would have to suggest some ideas about how to protect yourself from identity theft I would suggest not carrying anything in your purse/wallet that has your social security card on it. I would also say not to throw away any important documents, always shred them. Never give out personal information over the phone to anyone you don’t know. Check your credit report annually.

I would say that the person who stole the identity is to blame because it is breaking the law. The person who got their identity stolen is also to blame for being in careful and letting their information get out.

Emerging Technology

I researched the invention the Driverless Car by Google. The Driverless car is a car that has motion sensors all over the machine. It can drive itself with no interaction with human. You speak the directions and the car takes you there. If everyone in America had this car here would be no accidents, no traffic jams, and no deaths due to careless human driving. This is a great machine which will hopefully soon be used by people all over the world.

Point in Time

Jean Hoerni invented the Planar process in 1957. The Planar process is a manufactring process used in the semiconductor industry to build individual componets of a transistor, and in turn, connect those transitors together. It is the primary process by which modern intehrated circuts are built. Jean Hoerni developed the process while working at Fairchild Semiconductor.

The invention of the Planar Process has lead to integrated circuits and due to size and low cost i beleive it was the major enabler for teh sucsess of digital technology. We use digital technology in our everyday lives. I personally use technology for alot of thigs in my everyday life. I use a computer, cell phone, television, and radio.
